Community Cricket Coaching Course - Coaching Athletes with a Disability (CCID)
This course has been designed by Inclusive Sports Coaching to meet several needs:

Compliment general Coaching Accreditation provided by Peak Sporting Bodies

Provide specific and practical methods and tips for coaching people with Autism or an intellectual disability, allowing coaches new to working with these participants to gain a greater understanding

Make Coaches more confident in coaching athletes with Autism or an intellectual disability, and provide parents and carers with confidence that the coach has made the effort to gain some knowledge and accreditation in the area of inclusion.
The course is split into 5 Key sections as outlined below. In each section there is a case study, key takeways and/or a video to help explain the concepts and provide some real life experiences from the Head Coach of the Australian Cricket Team for Players with an Intellectual Disability.

There are no pre-requisites for this Training, however it is strongly recommended that you obtain your Community Coaching accreditation from your Peak Sporting Body.
